We streamline the process by installing our own meter during the installation, ensuring there are no additional costs added to your electric bill. This means all future electric bills related to the chargers go directly to us, alleviating stress for the business owner. With our solution, you can rest assured that your electric bill remains hassle-free.
In the unlikely event that an additional meter or sub-meter cannot be installed, the host will receive quarterly reimbursements for all power consumed by the charging stations.
The charging station operates on a plug-and-charge basis for vehicles compatible with the Tesla charging network, with all costs automatically billed to the Tesla account. For other electric vehicles, a one-time setup is required by scanning the QR code on the charger.
A Level 2 charger typically operates at a rate of up to 44 miles of added range per hour, facilitated by its 11.5 kW / 48-amp output capacity.
With the integrated J1772 adapter seamlessly incorporated into the charger, it's designed to efficiently charge virtually ANY electric vehicle on the market. Brands compatible include Tesla, Ford, Rivian, General Motors, Volvo, Polestar, Nissan and many more!
On average, the installation process typically takes about 2–4 weeks from start to finish. The most time-consuming aspect is obtaining city permits and approvals for adding a meter installation.
The installation cost varies for each project. Hosts only bear the expenses associated with installation. Many businesses considering installing charging stations qualify for local rebates to help offset installation costs.
Additionally, depending on the daily usage of the charging station, we may offer our own customized options to help alleviate a portion of the installation expenses.
The host is required to provide a Wi-Fi internet signal in the vicinity of the chargers. Approximately 15 Mbps is needed to support the updates required by each charger, enhancing their efficiency over time.
There is no software or cellular signal fees!
Charging sessions vary for each electric vehicle model. Typically, with a single charger, the range can be expected to increase by approximately 38–44 miles per hour of charging.
The chargers are designed to operate within a wide temperature range, from -22°F to 122°F, ensuring functionality even in extreme weather conditions.
The minimum number of chargers for installation is four, with the option for the host to add more during the installation process.
The charging station can be monitored for any issues or malfunctions remotely. We continuously monitor the status of chargers on the backend and regularly check their status to ensure they are all working properly. Additionally, we encourage the host to alert us if there are any issues. Any problems reported will be resolved by our team as soon as possible.
Yes, users have the option to receive notifications or alerts regarding their charging sessions. All alerts and information about their charging session will be available on the Tesla app when they plug in their vehicle for a charge.
The best time to have charging stations installed is during the building phase. Planning the installation in advance allows for a more seamless integration and a cleaner appearance upon installation.
